The First Nations Student Support Team is a crucial point of contact and support for Australian First Nations students studying at CDU.

Our experienced and dedicated student support staff is committed to improving our First Nations students' experience and connectedness and achieving their educational aspirations.

We offer advice and assistance in many forms including:

  • Course information
  • Applications to study
  • Pathways into university
  • Study plans and unit selection
  • Scholarships
  • Advanced Standing RPL
  • Referrals to specialised services i.e.: Counselling and Access and Inclusion
  • Academic Language Learning support
  • Advocacy
  • One on One Teams consultation via appointment
  • Link students with a tutor

Culturally safe study space

We provide two dedicated culturally safe student centres where First Nations students can meet and study with other students.  Our study centres are equipped with computers, printers, lockers, and, self-contained kitchens, with after-hours access.
