Trudy Avlonitis

Ms Trudy Avlonitis is a Kungarakan woman from Finniss River Land Trust Northern Territory born in Larrakia Country. Trudy has kinship connections through her grandmother to the Wuramangu in the Barkley Region NT and has worked with First Nations students and communities at CDU since 2011

Trudy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and has worked in Indigenous-led organisations in the health and housing sectors.  She leads a team of dedicated First Nations student support officers to create learning spaces on campus that value diversity, equity, and inclusion and to ensure First Nations students have the resources, support, and opportunities to succeed at university.
