Business development and partnerships

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is a leader in teaching, training, research and development and we work with industry, defence, governments, not-for-profits, and communities to create partnerships that deliver impact. 

Our Business Development and Partnership team develops collaborative partnerships that deliver solutions to real-world challenges. Uniquely placed as the Northern Territory’s only university, CDU and CDU TAFE can provide innovation, research and training solutions tailored to our partners' specifications.

Partnering with us 

At CDU, we partner with industry and government organisations in numerous ways, tailoring solutions to meet our partners' needs.

This includes:

  • Training: vocational education and training conducted through CDU TAFE supporting local organisations to meet their skill needs.

  • R&D projects to develop new solutions to industry challenges.

  • Specialised facilities and expertise. 

  • Student internships and placements within industry to assist NT organisation to train and retain the next generation of graduates and post-graduates.

  • Student industry research projects to assist industry to conduct specific research.

  • Co-located facilities for both training and innovation development.

  • Commercial and consulting involving commercialisation of innovation and contract research.

  • Intellectual property (IP) including the development and protection of IP.
