What you'll receive

The scholarship applies to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree covering 50% of the tuition fee for the full duration of the course.

About the scholarship

CDU offers a limited number of scholarships for international students who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement. 
The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Applicant must apply to commence study in either S3 2022 or S1 2023 
• Applicant must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course
• Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 95% in their highest completed qualification
• Applicant must be an international student paying international student fees
• Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency

Selection Criteria 

• Overall score in their highest completed qualification
• Supporting statements (up to 600 words) outlining why you should be awarded a scholarship

Duration

The duration of the Scholarship is the minimum time in which the course can be completed or when one of the following is true:

• The maximum Scholarship value has been exhausted
• You have completed your course
• You no longer meet the ongoing eligibility of the scholarship

Ongoing Eligibility  

In order to retain the scholarship, the recipient must meet all the following:

• Continue to be an international student liable for international student fees
• Pay their portion of the tuition fees on or before the payment due date (first day of teaching) of each semester
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 5.3 and with no fail grade in any unit
• Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or have the approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester

The offer to study must be accepted by 11:59 pm (Australian Central Standard Time), the day before teaching commences for each intake. These dates can be found online.

Pre-condition: Successful completion of most recent studies. Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course.

Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency.

Selection criteria

Meet the program and university entry requirements to commence their studies in Semester 2, 2022, or Summer Semester 2022, or Semester 1, 2023, or Semester 2, 2023.

A minimum GPA is not required to receive this scholarship.

Additional information

This is a scholarship of the value of 30% of your tuition fees for the duration of your study. It is available to all new students commencing studies for the first time in an eligible course at CDU. The 30% scholarship will be included in your Letter of Offer.

This scholarship is not available to current CDU students.

The scholarship is non-transferable and, thus,  cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course, or year. The tuition fee in lieu of the scholarship is non-refundable.

Supporting documentation 

You must provide all certified or original completion certificates and academic transcripts to enable an assessment of your application. When your certificates or transcripts are not in English, a translated version, duly verified, must be provided.

What you'll receive

The scholarship applies to the CDU International College course and covers up to 20% of the tuition fee for this course only for the below courses.

About the scholarship

CDU International College offers a number of scholarships for international students who wish to study a pathway course in order to achieve their goal of studying at a world-class university. The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.

*Scholarships are based on academic merit, and only for select qualifications. The scholarships will be awarded until the quota has been filled.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must apply to commence study in 2023 for a pathway course with CDU International College
• Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course
• Applicant must be classified as an international student fee-paying
• Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or other government sponsorship agency.

Terms and Conditions

• This award is exclusively for new international students
• Applicant must apply to commence study in 2023 for one of the programmes offered by CDU International College
• Applicants must meet the academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course
• Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate to be considered for this scholarship
• The scholarship is awarded for the first year of study only and is deducted from gross tuition fees upon enrolment. The scholarship cannot be used in lieu of any required deposit, and no cash alternative is available
• If students wish to defer their entry to the CDU International College programmes to 2024, the scholarship will not be automatically transferred. However, the student will be automatically assessed with the new scholarship scheme for 2024 when it's available
• Students must be self-funded.

Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) is offering FREE textbooks* to international students commencing in any of the following programs in 2022 and 2023:

• Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control
• Graduate Diploma of Public Health
• Graduate Diploma of Health Research
• Master of Public Health
• Master of Health Research
• Two Year Package: Graduate Diploma of Public Health (or Health Research) + Master of Public Health 
• Two Year Package: Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control + Master of Public Health/or Master of Health Research
• Two Year Double Degree: Master of Public Health/Master of Health Research 

Menzies will cover the cost of all required textbooks* for the duration of your enrolment. That is a potential saving of up to AUD$900 per academic year!

*Please note - only Required Textbooks are covered by this offer. Recommended textbooks can be purchased at the discretion of the student.

CDU will provide more information about the Academic Support Package to all applicants with a conditional or unconditional offer.

The scholarships will enable 5 students to receive funding for the duration of a 3-year Bachelor degree. Students will be expected to pay the equivalent of $USD9000 per annum (equivalency of $AUD12,900 as at 16 June 2022) each year for the duration of their Bachelors program. CDU will cover the remaining expenses of tuition and accommodation at CDU on-campus student accommodation.

Scholarship Offer

Five (5) DIS graduates per year from the commencement date S1 2023 that meet English and academic entry requirements will receive access to yearly tuition fee and accommodation scholarships to reduce overall fees paid to $AUD12,900 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must commence any CDU Darwin undergraduate program from Semester 1 2023 for on-campus study
• Applicants must commence in full-time study mode
• Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course
• Applicant must be an international student paying international student fees
• Applicants must be an international student that has completed their DIS Y12 qualification and ATAR

Selection Criteria

• Completion of DIS high school Y12 equivalent qualification and ATAR score that meets program entry requirements
• Supporting statement (up to 600 words) outlining why DIS student should be awarded a scholarship

Ongoing Eligibility  

In order to retain the scholarship, the recipient must meet all the following:

• Continue to be an international student liable for international student fees
• Pay their portion of the tuition fees on or before the payment due date (first day of teaching) of each semester
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 5.3 and with no fail grade in any unit
• Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or have the approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester

Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships is provided by the Northern Territory (NT) Government CDU to talented international students studying in Australia’s Northern Territory.

The scholarship program is currently accessible for international students residing outside of the Northern Territory.

• Higher Education (Undergraduate or Postgraduate): $12,000
• Vocational Education and Training (VET): $7500.

The scholarship amount is for your first semester or year of tuition fees with your education and training provider.
