New CDU Associate Vice-Chancellor Sydney appointed

Charles Darwin University (CDU) announced the appointment of Dr Sascha Jenkins as the new Associate Vice-Chancellor Sydney.
Dr Jenkins will lead the University's presence across the field of education in providing high-quality learning experiences and fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus environment.
Prior to joining CDU, Dr Jenkins played a critical role in activating the University of Technology Sydney Central building. She has a strong background in developing both digital and physical user experiences to support client and community engagement.
She has also led University-wide strategic projects, such as establishing a service portal (Student Learning Hub) and the creation of the Students as Partners project grants program.
Dr Jenkins has qualifications in arts and business. She completed a PHD in history and worked in academia and heritage consulting, before moving into professional roles in the university sector.
Dr Jenkins said she is passionate about creating and supporting positive and engaging student experiences and is looking forward to the opportunity to lead the Sydney campus.
“My career has had a big focus on enhancing the student experience and the activation of spaces and I am looking forward to leading the Sydney campus into its next phase of development,” Dr Jenkins said.
