CDU TAFE celebrates 11 finalists at 2025 NT Training Awards
Charles Darwin University and its students and staff have been named as finalists in seven categories at the 2025 NT Training Awards.
Seven students and one staff member are vying for gold, and the University itself has been listed as a finalist three times across two categories.
CDU TAFE Pro Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Mike Hamilton congratulated the finalists and wished them luck ahead of the awards ceremony on September 13.
“The tailored courses and units CDU TAFE provides ensure we’re building a strong future workforce for the Territory, and the number of CDU-affiliated finalists for this year’s NT Training Awards is testament to the excellent results we are achieving,” Mr Hamilton said.
“This is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work of our students and staff, who are the heart of CDU TAFE.”
Two of CDU’s partnerships have been shortlisted for the Industry Collaboration Award. The first works towards sustainable pathways to skilled careers with support form GTNT Group and Shell Australia, and the second works with the Department of Children and Families to provide education-to-community services for NT children and young people.
