Speakers:
Dr Olivia Nguyen
Dr Olivia is a former international student from CDU who completed her PhD and now works with the CDU Global team as an International Marketing and Communications Officer.
Before commencing her PhD, she spent 14 years as a lecturer at Thuongmai University in Hanoi, one of Vietnam’s leading business institutions.
At CDU, Dr Olivia plays a key role in a fast-paced international marketing environment and contributes directly to CDU’s strategic priorities in global student recruitment. Her responsibilities include developing, reviewing, tailoring and supporting the implementation of integrated marketing and communication plans aligned with CDU Global’s recruitment objectives. She works closely with our development team to strengthen outreach and engagement across international markets.
Dr Hoang (Huong) Le
Dr Huong Le is a lecturer in Education at the Faculty of Arts and Society, Charles Darwin University (CDU). She previously served as a teacher educator and lecturer at Hong Duc University in Vietnam.
At CDU, she teaches and coordinates units on inclusive education within teacher education programs, preparing future teachers to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Her research focuses on equity in education and teacher education, with a commitment to improving access and outcomes for learners from all backgrounds.
Ms Mit Dinh
Ms Mit Dinh was recently awarded the 2025 Study NT Student Ambassador of the Year. She holds a Master of Information Technology, specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, and has a strong background in financial analysis, digital services, and stakeholder engagement.
She is currently working for an AI start-up, where she applies data analytics and AI models to automate processes, streamline workflows, and reduce manual effort. Mit is passionate about using data to uncover insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
Mr Peter Le
Peter graduated with a Master of Data Science from CDU, achieving an outstanding GPA of 6.6/7 (94%) in June 2025.
He secured a permanent full-time position just four months after graduating and now works as a Data Analyst with the Northern Territory Government in the Department of Education and Training.
Peter was also the 2024 Study NT Student Ambassador, recognised for his leadership and contribution to the international student community.
