Researchers from Australia and Thailand are calling to change the treatment methods for those experiencing early psychosis to help improve their life expectancy rates.  

The call comes as a result of a new study co-led by Professor Daniel Bressington from Charles Darwin University (CDU), Assistant Professor Dr Soontareeporn Meepring from Chulalongkorn University and Professor Richard Gray from La Trobe University.  

The next generation of Northern Territory paramedics will be taking their skills on the road next year, as the first cohort of Charles Darwin University (CDU) Bachelor of Paramedicine students complete their studies.

Ten Northern Territory students will complete their studies this year and graduate from the Bachelor of Paramedicine in May 2024.

Law experts from Charles Darwin University (CDU) are calling on the Federal Government to increase paid parental leave by nearly three times the current amount.

The Charles Darwin University and University of Wollongong analysed how X, formerly known as Twitter, users discussed the 2019/20 bushfires to better understand how social media could be used to ensure the severity of natural hazards are being communicated effectively.

A PhD student from Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Energy Research Institute has been awarded the highly competitive 2023 Postgraduate Research Award (PGRA) by the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering.

Higher Degree by Research student Angel Alberto Aguilar Morones was recognised with this award for his contributions to developing processes for recycling fire-retardant e-waste.
