Charles Darwin University (CDU) and not-for-profit organisation Karitane have today announced a new partnership with a focus on strengthening workforce education and training, and collaborative research in the field of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH).
Charles Darwin University (CDU) has welcomed the Federal Government’s decision to bring in paid placements for certain study areas, including in regional and remote areas as it will help northern Australia’s essential worker crisis.
Ishita Singhal originally studied Information Technology before deciding to pursue a career she was truly passionate about. After graduating with a Bachelor of Midwifery from CDU, she couldn’t be happier with her decision. We asked Ishita about what motivated her to follow her study goals, as well as her experiences as a CDU student and the challenges she faced along the way to become a midwife.
Hailing from Katherine, Alina decided to stay in the Territory and study at CDU. While studying she found a passion for helping others. After starting her own student group, she eventually moved into a student group project officer role with Charles Darwin University.
