My primary focus is on understanding alcohol and other drug use and behavioural addictions, including alcohol, nicotine (e.g., tobacco, e-cigarettes), and gambling behaviour. I have a keen interest in the integration of social psychology with other fields, and welcome invitations for collaboration on multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary research projects.

A/Prof Gabrielle McCallum is the Head of Discipline in the School of Nursing at Charles Darwin University. Gabrielle's research addresses important clinical gaps for children and adolescents at-risk of poor lung health in Australia, Timor-Leste and the Asia-Pacific region and informs direct prevention strategies, future interventions, and improved management pathways.
