The intent of this document is to define areas on University premises that are strictly smoke-free in compliance with government legislation. It is also to inform all members of the University community about how to access the wellness programs and support mechanisms that are in place and are designed to encourage people to improve their health by ceasing to smoke.
This procedure outlines the commitment from CDU in ensuring a flexible, safe and healthy workplace for all employees, including those who undertake work off-campus, including work from home. It also frames the circumstances around when employees are entitled to request, the conditions to be adhered to and the necessary measures to be taken when in a flexible work arrangement.
This document defines the policy covering academic promotion at the University for higher education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) academic staff members. It should be read in conjunction with the Human Resources Policy, the Academic Staff Promotion Procedures, the University’s Staff Code of Conduct, and the Charles Darwin University and Union Enterprise Agreement 2018.
This policy and procedure outlines the University’s approach to managing its online presence through the cdu.edu.au domain, its subdomains, and other approved websites. It ensures the University’s website contains accurate and current information and is fit for purpose for communicating with the University community and external stakeholders.
This policy and procedure provide a framework for managing the acquisition, registration, assurance of existence, and disposal of the University’s assets. It applies to all University employees and students who use and manage University assets, including capital assets which have a value equal to or greater than $5,000.00, and portable and attractive items.
The purpose of this policy and procedure is to articulate the circumstances, expectations and responsibilities surrounding employees who enter into a residential agreement with the University. It applies to all employees occupying University housing or accommodation. This includes any other occupant residing in the residence including: A member of an employee’s immediate family, Kinship relations, or any other member of the household.
This policy sets out the University’s framework for credit and recognition of prior learning (also known as advanced standing) within an overarching pedagogical and quality assurance perspective. It applies to applicants seeking admission to the University and enrolled students seeking course transfer or credit in their current qualification.
