A public forum discussing the social, cultural, political and economic issues relating to preventable deaths of mothers and newborns will be held in Darwin this week.
The intent of this document is to define areas on University premises that are strictly smoke-free in compliance with government legislation. It is also to inform all members of the University community about how to access the wellness programs and support mechanisms that are in place and are designed to encourage people to improve their health by ceasing to smoke.
This procedure provides the framework for incident notification, reporting, classification and investigation for all University campus’ and facilities. This ensures all work health and safety (WHS) incidents including near misses are reported, recorded and sufficiently investigated to produce appropriate corrective actions to minimise the chance of repeat incidents.
This procedure outlines how to identify “reasonably foreseeable” work health and safety hazards, assess the risk associated with those hazards, implement controls to eliminate or minimise the risk so far as is reasonably practicable and review the implemented controls to ensure they are and remain effective.
The intention of this document is to outline the University’s position with respect to alcohol consumption, illicit drug abuse and/or substance misuse, and the consequences to health, academic achievement, relationships and employment from any misuse. This document also outlines the University’s support programs for staff and students who may have alcohol, drug and/or substance abuse problems.

The College is committed to making reasonable adjustments to teaching and learning, assessment, practice experiences and other activities to address the impact of students' disabilities so that they are able to participate in their course.
CDU are pleased to launch the First Nations Introduction to University program for 2023.
The program is an entry pathway for First Nations people who are interested in studying at university. The January 2023 intensive focuses on preparing students for study in either Health, Education or Arts.
