You have the choice of flexible study options as well as the option to undertake postgraduate study.
Graduate with the Bachelor of Social Work and provide practical support, information, advocacy, counselling, and emotional support for people experiencing personal and social problems. Develop the practical and analytical skills necessary for working professionally and safely with communities, families and individuals. Our graduates are culturally competent specialists, responding to complex situations, often working in areas with limited resources.
Associate Professor Schlesinger is a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology. She is based at Charles Darwin University’s desert campus in Alice Springs.
The Away from Base (AFB) funding program provides financial support and assistance to eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous Australian) students enrolled in approved mixed-mode/external courses for compulsory course requirements such as workshops, placements, and training blocks.
