Supriya Mathew is an environmental health researcher leading the climate change research program at Menzies. Her research team focuses on improving climate resilience in remote Australia through citizen scientist-led research data collection, collation of lived experiences of residents of remote Australia and co-designing of adaptation and mitigation solutions with remote residents and stakeholders.
My primary focus is on understanding alcohol and other drug use and behavioural addictions, including alcohol, nicotine (e.g., tobacco, e-cigarettes), and gambling behaviour. I have a keen interest in the integration of social psychology with other fields, and welcome invitations for collaboration on multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary research projects.

For over 30 years, Maiti Nepal has dedicated itself to rescuing and rehabilitating survivors while advocating for the rights of women and children across Nepal. What began as a small shelter has since evolved into a comprehensive support network, offering education, vocational training, and economic empowerment to help survivors rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence.
