Dr Angela Bromley

Angela is a lecturer in midwifery and has over 25 years’ experience as a midwife.

She trained and worked in the UK, gaining her Midwifery degree and PhD at the University of Greenwich. She has worked in London as a clinical midwife and midwifery educator.

Angela came to Australia in 2008 as the midwifery educator in Alice Springs.

Angela has experience in qualitative and quantitative research. Her PhD examined aspects of labour for Nigerian women in London, as well as the experiences of midwives and obstetricians caring for this group of women.

Angela’s focus as a clinical educator and midwifery teacher is to enable midwives to be knowledgeable, skilled, confident and compassionate practitioners.
