Whether you’re 100% locked in or have no idea what's next, this event has your back.
The session is designed for 2026 Year 12 students with combination of interactive presentations and workshop-style activities delivered by Alana Kilmartin, author and founder of Unserious Careers. As the name of her book suggests, she doesn’t do boring and won’t be standing at the front of the room for three hours shouting advice.
You’ll have the opportunity to reflect, brainstorm and put an action plan in place for your own career – and, dare it be said, you might even have some fun along the way.
Alana has presented to students at more than 300 high schools across Australia and New Zealand and is now bringing the Seriously Ready National Tour to Darwin, with the event hosted by Charles Darwin University.
Whether you’re planning to go to uni or TAFE, enter the workforce, start a trade, take a gap year or follow another path, this session is designed to help you feel more prepared and excited about what comes next.
