    What you'll receive

    The scholarship applies to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree covering 50% or 25% of the tuition fee for the full duration of the course.

    About the scholarship

    CDU offers a limited number of scholarships for international students who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement. 
    The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year;

    Eligibility Criteria 

    • Applicant must apply to commence study in 2020
    • Applicants must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirement for their chosen course;
    • Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 85% in their highest completed qualification
    • Applicant must be an international student on a student visa;
    • Applicant should not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency

    Selection Criteria 

    • Supporting statement (up to 500 words) outlining why you should be awarded a scholarship
    • Two referees reports (academic or professional) supporting your scholarship application

    Duration

    The duration of the Scholarship is the minimum time in which the course can be completed or when one of the following is true:

    • The maximum Scholarship value has been exhausted;
    • You have completed your course;
    • You no longer meet the ongoing eligibility of the scholarship.

    Ongoing Eligibility  

    • Continue to be an international student liable for international student fees;
    • Pay their portion of the tuition fees on or before the payment due date (first day of teaching) of each semester;
    • Maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 5.3 and with no fail grade in any unit;
    • Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or have approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester;

    The scholarship applies to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree and covers 25% of the tuition fee for the full duration of the course.

    About the scholarship

    CDU offers scholarships to international students who meet all eligibility and selection criteria and are applying to study in Semester 1 2020 at the CDU Sydney campus.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Applicant must apply to commence study in 2020 at our Sydney campus;
    • Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course;
    • Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 60% in their highest completed qualification;
    • Applicant must be an international student on a student visa;

    Selection Criteria

    No application is required. Applicants are automatically assessed after submitting their application for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.

    Duration

    The duration of the Scholarship is the minimum time in which the course can be completed or when one of the following is true:

    • The maximum Scholarship value has been exhausted;
    • You have completed your course;
    • You no longer meet the ongoing eligibility of the scholarship.

    Ongoing Eligibility 

    In order to retain the scholarship, the recipient must meet all the following:

    • Continue to be an international student liable for international student fees;
    • Pay their portion of the tuition fees in full on or before the payment due date (first day of teaching) of each semester;
    • Maintain a GPA of 4;
    • Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or have approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester;
    • Remain enrolled at the Sydney campus in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework course;

    * Students who chose to transfer to another CDU course will continue to be eligible if the above conditions are met

    • Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course;
    • Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 70% in their highest completed qualification; 
    • Applicant must be an international student on a student visa;
    • Applicant should not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency

    Selection Criteria

    CDU Global offers a number of scholarships for international students who have demonstrated academic merit. The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year;

    *Scholarship has limited number of quota per semester. The scholarships will be awarded until quota places have been filled.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Applicant must apply to commence study in 2020
    • Applicants must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course;
    • Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 60% in their highest completed qualification;
    • Applicant must be an international student on a student visa;
    • Applicant should not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency

    • Continue to be an international student liable for international student fees;
    • Pay their portion of the tuition fees on or before the payment due date (first day of teaching) of each semester;
    • Maintain a passing GPA of 4.0 with no fail grade in any  unit;
    • Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or have approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester;

  • Scholarships for PhD courses and Research degrees are available to international students.

Australian Government Scholarships

  • CDU provides undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses for Australia Awards Scholarship students. Australia Awards Scholarship students enjoy the support services offered to all International students, plus:

    • Support from the University's designated Australia Awards Scholarship Officer
    • A special Introductory Academic Program
    • Additional tuition support as recommended by academic staff

  • The Destination Australia program is the Australian Government’s new scholarship program to provide financial support for more tertiary education students to study in regional Australia. These scholarships will provide financial assistance of up to $15,000 per student, per year.

    CDU administers the scholarships for individual students.

Northern Territory Scholarships

  • Study in Australia’s Northern Territory scholarships are provided by the Northern Territory Government and education providers to talented students from all over the world to study in Australia’s Northern Territory.

    What you'll receive

    The scholarships recognise students’ academic merit, leadership and community engagement. They are for School ($10,000), English language ($5,000), Vocational Education and Training ($7,500), Professional year Program ($2,500) and Higher Education - undergraduate and postgraduate ($12,000) and contribute to the student’s tuition fees.
