Darwin students are dusting off their clippers and coloured hairspray bottles in preparation for the World’s Greatest Shave at Casuarina campus today (Thursday).

Charles Darwin University Student Ambassadors will offer a summer cut or a streak of colour to passers-by during the Leukaemia Foundation event at the CDU Breezeway from 11am until 1pm.

They also will sell cupcakes and other sweets for the charity, donated by local bakeries including Little Crumbs, Kurt’s Cakes, Dimitrios Specialty Cakes, Sweet Tooth and Schubert's Catering.

CDU Student Ambassador Mimi Kunnikorn said she looked forward to volunteering at the event for another year.

“The World’s Greatest Shave is a great way to contribute to the community and help raise money for those who really need it,” Mimi said.
