Make the most of your CDU Open Day experience

Charles Darwin University Open Day is a great chance to get a feel for campus life, ask questions, and explore your online and on campus study options.

Read our practical tips and prepare for a smooth and enjoyable experience at one of our campus locations!

What to bring to Open Day

  • A bag or tote: You'll likely collect brochures and freebies, so bring something light and comfortable to carry them in.
  • Sun protection: Be sun-smart in the NT weather: pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
  • Water bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial, and many campuses have refill stations available.
  • Snacks: We'll have food options available on the day, but having a small snack on hand can help if you're moving between sessions.
  • Comfortable shoes: Expect to do a lot of moving around, possibly across hilly or uneven surfaces.
  • Notebook or notes app: Jot down anything that stands out or questions you want to ask.
  • Questions: Think ahead about what you'd like to know from academics, current students or support staff.
