In Media Basics workshop, participants will learn about the media landscape for researchers, how to traverse that landscape, and what researchers can discover when engaged with media. We will be looking at some of the ways researchers have used media, and what you can be doing for better engagement and get your research to a wider audience.

EndNote & Referencing
This workshop is specifically for HDR students. We will look at how EndNote can help you with downloading resource information from Library Search or a Library Database, how to organise the resources in EndNote, and how to add those resources as citations and references in your assignments. As part of learning how to use EndNote, we will also look at referencing. Using EndNote will require that you understand how your references need to look like, as EndNote will not correct mistakes or add missing information.

Thesis submission, examiner selection, examination & resubmission process
This workshop provides HDR candidates with a clear and practical overview of the thesis examination journey—from preparing your thesis for submission through to examiner selection, the review process, and responding to examiner feedback. Participants will gain an understanding of key milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and CDU requirements to help ensure a smooth and timely completion.
