The Council for Charles Darwin University has appointed the Honourable Trevor Riley AO KC as CDU’s fifth Chancellor.
A delegation from Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) leadership is embarking on an intensive 17-day tour of India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal to reignite existing relationships with South Asian partners and lay the groundwork for new connections.

My main area of research includes chronic disease malnutrition in adult hospital patients. Research impact includes the development and validation of the first malnutrition screening tool specifically for an Indigenous population (Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples).
Pascal has undertaken research in a number of domains at different stages of his professional career, mainly in the areas of economic analysis, tourism business and marketing, evaluation and assessment of policies and strategies aiming to enhance economic capabilities in northern Australia and address workforce challenges, including surrounding Aboriginal communities.
Dr Payi Linda Ford is currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Northern Institute. Her knowledge, expertise and research focus on Indigenous issues and her work contributes understanding locally, nationally and internationally.
Daniel is an Outstanding Future Researcher at CDU and Deputy Lead of the Chronic Disease, Cancer and Ageing Research Group (CCARG). Daniel’s research background is centred on the healthcare of patients with cancer and chronic diseases. Daniel has a distinguished research record as evidenced by internationally recognised publications and success in attracting research funding.
