Over the past 15 years, Dylan has made significant contributions to industry and community by helping build the foundations of the Northern Territory’s interactive entertainment and digital skills ecosystem.
He is the founder of Larrikin Interactive, the Territory’s first award-winning video game studio. Under his leadership, the studio achieved national and international recognition, receiving four nominations at the Australian Game Developer Awards (AGDAs) and winning in Excellence in Music and Industry Champion. Dylan remains the only person to win AGDAs in two consecutive years, demonstrating consistent impact within the Australian games industry.
Beyond game development, Dylan has been instrumental in shaping the NT’s digital industry landscape. Through collaboration with the Northern Territory Government, the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association (IGEA), and Charles Darwin University, he helped position the NT alongside the ACT, Tasmania, and WA in national game development rankings.
He also co-founded the Geek Culture Collective, a not-for-profit association celebrating digital creativity. Its flagship event, TROPiCON, attracted more than 3,000 attendees, gained national media attention, and created a platform for local developers andd esports players.
As CEO of The Array, Darwin’s not-for-profit technology and esports hub, Dylan secured funding through the NT Government’s Territory Innovation Challenge to establish a tech education and business development centre. The Array has since delivered over 100 programs engaging 1,300 participants and supported members to raise more than $2 million in funding. Dylan’s leadership continues to strengthen innovation, education, and digital opportunity across the Northern Territory.
