Careers @ CDU

Early Careers @ CDU

Casuarina campus by night

The Early Careers @ CDU program includes both Trainee and Graduate programs to provide employment and training opportunities for people entering the workforce. While working at CDU, participants will be exposed to various areas and facets of working in a modern university. A “grow our own” approach will assist in delivering trainees and graduates into ongoing roles at CDU.

Our Traineeship and Graduate Programs are recruited under CDU’s Affirmative Action priority recruitment.

Traineeship

The CDU Traineeship program offers a certificate qualification while gaining work experience. The trainee will be employed through Group Training Northern Territory (GTNT) and hosted at CDU on a 12-month full-time contract with part-time study enrolment aligned with the TAFE academic year. Trainees will be given study time and required to attend all classes.

Traineeships on offer may vary on qualifications and locations.

For more information, visit the GTNT current vacancies page.

Graduate

The CDU Graduate program offers someone who has completed a degree or post-graduate course within the past 12 months or will complete by the commencement of the program directly related to the field of study.

CDU will employ the graduate on a one-year full-time contract with a structured training and rotation program providing exposure to various components of a position, work area, or across work areas to further extend their knowledge and skills.

Refer to the CDU Jobs page for current Graduate vacancies.
