Come along to the Respect Month launch on 1 April from 12 pm – 2 pm at Danala | Education and Community Precinct.
Respect Month is a time when we will be considering how we can each Be a Better Human as we consider what respect, empathy and consent means in our University community. We will shine a spotlight on sexual violence, bystander education, respectful relationships, reporting and support options for university students.
The launch will feature guest speakers, community services, games, friendship bracelet making, a Vox Pop and food.

Respect Month Installation - Danala
The "Stronger Together" installation at Danala invites the university community to reflect on their shared responsibility in addressing gender-based violence by engaging with a student's story to learn how to better notice, respond to, and support those in need.

Respect Matters study night at Danala
Starting in 2026, all CDU students must complete the 90-minute Respect Matters online training covering consent and healthy relationships, with optional facilitated study sessions available to provide staff support and snacks while finishing the modules.
