Start your Chinese language journey with confidence! Our Adult Elementary Chinese Course is specially designed for beginners with no prior knowledge of Chinese. Through interactive lessons and practical activities, you will build a strong foundation in the language while gaining valuable insights into Chinese culture.
By the end of the course, you will be able to master the basics of Chinese pronunciation, understand the fundamentals of the Chinese writing system (Hanzi), and communicate confidently in everyday situations: including greetings, self-introductions, and simple conversations, equipping you to use Chinese in real-life settings.
Whether you are learning Chinese for travel, work, personal interest, or academic purposes, this course provides an excellent starting point. It is also an ideal choice for students preparing for the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), helping you build the language skills and confidence needed for future study.
Instructor: Jing Yu is a volunteer Chinese language teacher at the Institute of Chinese Language and Cultural Studies (ICLCS). She holds a master’s degree from China, in teaching Chinese to speakers of other Languages (MTCSOL).
Please note that this is a paid course. The fee for this course is $120.
