Discover the benefits of Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocades), a traditional Chinese Health Qigong practice with a history of over 1,000 years. Featuring eight gentle, flowing movements combined with mindful breathing, Ba Duan Jin is easy to learn and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. You can practice it almost anywhere, making it a simple way to stay active and healthy.
Our teacher Qihao Lu has several years of experience teaching traditional Chinese movement practices, including Chinese martial arts and Tai Chi-related training.
Regular practice may help improve flexibility, balance, and coordination while easing muscle tension and stiffness caused by long periods of sitting. It can also promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance both physical and mental wellbeing.
Sign up today and experience this time-honoured wellness practice in a friendly and supportive learning environment. Beginners are warmly welcome.
Please note that these sessions involve gentle physical activity. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate, please consult your healthcare professional before attending.
