The latest addition to Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Trades Precinct is now underway, with construction commencing on the CDU Trades Training Centre at Casuarina campus.

Northern Territory Minister for Skills, Training and International Education Joel Bowden joined CDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman, CDU TAFE Pro Vice-Chancellor Mike Hamilton and Aspire Design and Construct Executive Director Lisa Jenkinson viewed the initial progress on site recently.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) recently welcomed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to the Casuarina campus to announce the Australian Government's commitment to expanding export opportunities for Australian organisations and businesses.

Prime Minister Albanese was joined by Member for Solomon Luke Gosling OAM, Northern Territory Chief Minister Natasha Fyles, CDU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation Professor Steve Rogers and SPEE3D Chief Technical Officer Steven Camilleri.

In celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Week, Charles Darwin University (CDU) welcomed members of the Down Syndrome Association of the Northern Territory and Project 21 to the Casuarina campus.

The event aimed to promote inclusion, understanding, and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome within the university community.

The Project 21 students engaged in various activities during their visit, offering CDU staff and students unique opportunities to connect, learn and celebrate diversity.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is excited to be welcoming experts in the field of combustion for the Australian Combustion Symposium which will be held on November 26-29 at CDU’s Waterfront campus.

The Symposium will explore a range of subjects including decarbonisation, clean fuels, control of greenhouse gas emissions and fire research and process safety.
