Charles Darwin University (CDU)’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) student Savanne Canobie has won the 2021 Australian Apprentice of the Year Award, becoming one of the few Northern Territory students to receive the national prize.
Mark dropped out of high school in year 10. Fast forward a few years: he holds a law degree, is involved in countless legal education and community initiatives, has been NT Young Achiever of the Year and nominated as Indigenous valedictorian of his graduating class at CDU.

For Tatenda Simbarashe Mapuranga, moving to Darwin to study a Business degree at Charles Darwin University was a series of firsts.
