A one-day intensive workshop designed to boost photography skills quickly, suitable for anyone wanting to level up their photography with no prior experience required. Participants learn practical tips and simple techniques that make an immediate difference in their shots, whether using a smartphone or a dedicated camera.

The workshop covers photography foundations, composition techniques, mastering light, creative camera features, and quick editing skills. Participants leave with sharper, more creative photos and the confidence to capture life's moments beautifully.

Learning Focus: 

Participants will apply photography skills in personal and professional contexts including social media content creation, event documentation, family photography, workplace communications, and personal creative projects. Skills are applicable across any device-smartphone or dedicated camera-enabling immediate practical use.

Participants for this course should have:

  • A camera or smartphone (any type)
  • No prior photography experience required
  • Open to all NT community members aged 16+.
