Charles Darwin University has several venues at its Casuarina, Darwin Waterfront, Palmerston, Alice Springs and Katherine campuses. When not in use for university activities, these may be hired by external organisations for training, meetings, or other suitable events.
The teaching and meeting spaces are equipped with current technology such as interactive data projectors, built-in audio and computer connectivity.
Booking a venue is simple. Staff and students use Resource Booker - check the User Guide (DOCX, 2.23 MB) for more info. External users can complete and submit the Venue Hire Request Form (DOCX, 38.14 KB), and the Venue Hire team will process your request and find the most suitable available space to meet your requirements.
A small range of commonly used function equipment is available in conjunction with venue hire, but event organisers may need to supplement this by hiring a commercial provider.
