Emma is a highly competent Senior Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience working across infrastructure and the built environment in planning, design development, and construction. For the past eight years, Emma has focused on delivering Defence capital works projects across multiple states and territories, and previous to this worked for Northern Territory Government within the Major Performance Categories.

Since graduating from CDU, where she attained her AIPM student of the year award, she has both refined and increased her project management skills for the NT Government and Commonwealth sectors. For the past 10 years, she has delivered significant Defence projects including the RAAF Base Darwin, Estate Base Master Plan preparations and design management of RAAF Base Darwin Mid Term Refresh (MTR) MPFR designs estimated to be worth between $200 million - $7 billion.

Emma is currently preparing and authoring the RAAF Base Darwin Estate Master Plan while managing and coordinating the design teams to prepare the Base’s Mid-Term-Refresh upgrades; mainly for in-ground infrastructure with a budget of $155 million.

Emma was invited to oversee the delivery of the following work elements:

  • Low Observable (LO) Strategic Facility: a unique radar penetrating facility for the preparation of a 30% Concept Design Report phase design pack and cost estimate, valued at $400 million.
  • Logistics Retail Warehouse for the preparation of a 100% non-rejected ‘For Construction’ design and pre-tender cost estimate valued at $17 million.

As a skilled communicator, Emma effectively managed the facilitation of design workshops held in Australia and the United States relating to the LO Strategic Facility; coordinated the stringent Australian design compliant reviews in parallel with the U.S. design; prepared and

In addition, she has attained a postgraduate in her second passion of teaching and become an affiliated professional for Green Building Council of Australia (GSAP) while undertaking her Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction Management. Emma sees sustainability at the forefront of her industry and loves to mentor staff to develop and look forward to helping the next generation of project managers succeed.
