Join our Peer Advisors in PASS sessions for selected units. These collaborative sessions, scheduled in weeks 3, 6, 9, and 12 of each semester, focus on preparing you for assignments and exams.

Our Peer Advisors are available for one-on-one Peer-to-Peer Appointments to help you with a range of units across all disciplines and faculties.

Peer Mentoring
As a mentee, you'll be paired with a dedicated Peer Advisor who will check in with you every other week. This ongoing support ensures that you're progressing well in your studies and academic life. Don't hesitate to reach out to your assigned Peer Advisor anytime during the semester if you encounter difficulties.

Hello!! My name is Adson, and I'm currently enrolled in my final year of Bachelor of Engineering at CDU. Having once been a first-year student, I truly appreciate the guidance and support from CDU's staff and senior student, which played an important role through my academic and personal growth. Having been in your shoes, I understand how challenging and overwhelming this journey can be at different times. And now that I've I reach my final year of degree, I'm enthusiastic about providing the same level of support to new student and help you navigate through your studies with confidence. My goal is to build a supportive and engaging environment in which we can learn from each other, work through challenges and achieve our goals together. Hi, I’m Chara, a Bachelor of Midwifery student from Western Australia. Before undertaking further study, I worked as a teacher both internationally and here in Australia, and I hope to continue to utilise my teaching experience as a peer advisor. Hi everyone 😊 My name is Emma and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Speech and Language Therapy at CDU. In 2023, I returned to university part-time as a mature-aged student while balancing work, caring for a toddler, and living in remote NT. Because of this experience, I understand the challenges of university life and the value of having a strong support network to achieve success This semester I will be your Peer Advisor for HSC132: Introduction to Health Promotion, a unit I thoroughly enjoyed. Hello! I’m Michael and I’m thrilled to be a part of the CDU Peer Advisors team. I have studied at CDU for several years now across law, education and arts disciplines. A key area of focus for me has been Indonesian language. I come to my current studies as a mature-age student with a background in business, consulting and advisory roles. I’m also a dad and stepdad to four awesome teenagers who are an inspiration and often cause perspiration at the same time!
