The Vocal Development Program is for singers between the ages of 5 and 12 including seniors who are interested in learning more about music and their voices.

The CYCM recognises the importance of training singers to use the correct vocal technique as well as giving them plenty of opportunities to sing at various functions and events and participate in staged productions.

There are two choirs to choose from; ages range from 7 years old through to Seniors:

Growing Voices (ages 7 - 12): Saturday 10:00 - 11am - Cost $165 for eight lessons

Still Belting Out: Senior Choirevery Thursday 10am - 11:30am - Cost $25

Goals

Foster a love of music through active participation.

Encourage and train singers to use their voices safely.

Develop aural skills, strong sight-singing skills and the understanding of musical concepts.

Broaden experience through a range of performance opportunities and a varied and stimulating repertoire.

Encourage and to prepare singers for future music study or involvement.
