About the Health Hub

A multi-disciplinary teaching health service in the NT
Students with clients at the Health Hub

Charles Darwin University Health Hub is the Northern Territory’s first teaching, multi-disciplinary health service, providing health services in an inclusive, interprofessional training and research environment, for the benefit of both student learning and the health of our community.

Our purpose

  • Supporting, not competing - we complement existing health service providers by addressing gaps in healthcare access, catering valuable student-led practice opportunities.
  • Building the NT health workforce – we retain health students in the NT, by providing placement experiences that are varied, rewarding and reflective of the Northern Territory.

Our approach

Students from the Faculty of Health engage in culturally safe, person-centred, and interprofessional supervised practice at the Health Hub.
