Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) leading cyber security expert has travelled to Korea to take part in a key international conference on AI in the digital age.  

The conference, co-hosted by the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), the Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI), and CDU’s NT Academic Centre for Cybersecurity and Innovation, discussed AI practice, policy and research priorities.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Territory’s peak volunteering body, Volunteering NT, to support the pilot of a new employability development program - the Volunteer and Learn (VALue) Program. 

The CDU Careers Centre designed the VALue program to not only make volunteering accessible and rewarding for students, but to equip them with essential employability skills to help start their careers in a competitive job market.

Two plants native to Northern Australia could have significant medicinal potential in the prevention and treatment of diseases, according to two studies by a Charles Darwin University (CDU) PhD candidate.

Lead author and CDU Faculty of Faculty of Science and Technology candidate Elnaz Saki explored the potential of Calophyllum inophyllum seed oil (CSO) and Tinospora smilacina leaves water extract (TSWE) as alternative sources of medicine in two separate studies.

Charles Darwin University students are paving the way for safer spaces for the queer community within higher education and NT workplaces, after returning from a national summit on LGBTQIA+ representation in the public sector.

Student representatives of the CDU Queer Network recently attended the Public Sector LGBTQIA+ Leadership and Allyship Summit in Canberra, to learn from senior LGBTQIA+ leaders and engage with community members to create a more inclusive and diverse public sector for the future.
