The Vocal Development Program is for singers between the ages of 5 and 18 including seniors who are interested in learning more about music and their voices. The CYCM recognises the importance of training singers to use correct vocal technique as well as giving them plenty of opportunity to sing at various functions and events and participate in staged productions.

Dr Hughes mixed-methods research includes quantitative measures, longitudinal datasets, qualitative research and partnering with patient experts and community leaders and clinician collaborators to prioritise and develop research priorities and deliver research impact.
