Overview
This accredited course provides Minimum Australian Context Gap training to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).

On successful completion of this accredited course and sufficient supervised employment, graduates may apply to either the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivered the 11297NAT Course in Electrician - Minimum Australian Context Gap or the RTO responsible for issuing the Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) and/or the RTO responsible for issuing the Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS), for the issuance of a UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).

Entry requirements
Admission criteria
To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify areas for additional support, and students must also have sufficient digital literacy to complete online assessments.
To gain entry into this course student must fulfil the below requirements:
- be an NT resident
- hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) for a UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor);
- hold a provisional/restricted licence issued by NT WorkSafe
- be engaged (employed) as an electrical worker; and
- hold a certificate of currency for resuscitation (CPR) within the last twelve months and can provide a certificate of currency.
