This course develops skills and knowledge required to perform financial calculations and build spreadsheets and dashboards with Microsoft Excel. Building on current skills and knowledge to increase proficiency in a range of calculation methods and techniques to professionally prepare and present financial data and analytics. This course applies to those who are intermediate users of excel and have adequate English literacy, numeracy, and digital skills to perform routine computational tasks as part of their operational job role.

Career opportunities

This short course develops your knowledge and skills for roles including; administrative officer, finance or accounts assistant, business support officer, reporting or data analyst (entry to intermediate level), project support officer, operations officer, and other roles requiring the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial data using Microsoft Excel.

Fee exemptions

Exemptions apply to TAFE tuition fees for NTG supported courses only.
