Handmade grass weaving workshop
The Confucius Institute welcomes you to join Handmade grass weaving workshops every Friday from 11 July till 12 September, 5 pm - 7 pm.

Chinese Foundation
Chinese Foundation is an introduction to the Mandarin language delivered by the Confucius Institute. This course will run for eight weeks every Tuesday night from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, starting from 15th July.

Ba Duan Jin Eight Brocades
The Confucius Institute welcomes you to join our Tai Chi journey for beginners (Ba Duan Jin - Eight Brocades) practice sessions every Wednesday from 5 pm - 7 pm, starting 9 July till 10 September.

Chinese language speaking course
Come to practice with us and learn how to speak Chinese more fluently and confidently in various contexts. Classes will run every Wednesday, from 6 pm - 8 pm, starting 9 July to 10 September.

Zen Dance workshops
The CDU Confucius Institute is offering Zen Dance workshops on the CDU Casuarina campus every Thursday from 5 pm - 6 pm, starting on 12 June to 21 August.

Adult Chinese for beginners
Come and join us to master the pronunciation rules of Chinese and understand the basic formation of the Chinese writing system (Hanzi). The classes will be held every Thursday, starting from 10 July to 11 September.

Chinese kung fu classes for kids
Join our kung fu classes specialised for children. It’s more than just exercise—it’s a journey to a healthier, brighter, and more focused future for every child! The classes run every Thursday at 5 pm, from 10 July - 11 September.

Travel Chinese for beginners
Learn basic Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge for travel and business interactions with China. This course will be held every Thursday from 6 pm - 8 pm, starting on 10 July - 11 September.

Chinese Intermediate
Following the Chinese Foundation course, the Chinese Intermediate course will take you through the first steps to learning Chinese grammar. This course will run from 17 July - 04 September every Thursday evening 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

RIEL Seminar Series – Savanna fire and biodiversity: findings from a long-term field experiment
In the seminar Prof Alan Andersen (CDU) will describe the findings and lessons for management from the Burning for Biodiversity experiment at the Territory Wildlife Park, a 20-year collaboration between CDU, CSIRO and the NT Government.
