Calling all newly commencing Semester 2 students in Darwin (including Casuarina campus, Danala | Education and Community Precinct, and external).

Join us for four days of fun activities, free lunch, drinks and games. Plus, connect with your faculty and get to know your fellow peers.

Day 1 - Monday 14 July10 am - 2 pm
  • Visit the Welcome Centre to get your student ID, get enrolment help and support with all your student admin needs.
Day 2 - Wednesday 16 July
 
10 am - 3 pm
  • Official welcome event with Smoking Ceremony and formal introduction to CDU.
  • Explore the campus and connect with fellow students. Meet the teams who provide essential services and support your learning, health and wellbeing journey.
  • Hear essential CDU 101 info and the international student session about understanding visa requirements during your study.
Day 3 - Thursday 17 July
 
From 10 am - 4.30 pm
  • Connect with your Faculty. Meet teaching staff, get to know your peers and tour our study spaces. See your Orientation schedule for details. Make sure to use the personalisation tool to see information specific to domestic and international students.
Day 4 - 
Friday 18 July
 
2 pm - 5 pm
  • Get ready to kick off the semester in style. The CDU Student Carnival is bringing you all the fun, food and good vibes with student group and community stalls, DJ and music, Library scavenger hunt, games and more.

    Dr Sonu Yadav (Principal Molecular Scientist in the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Northern Territory Government) will present her research on using genetics and genomics datasets to address key questions in insect conservation, management, and evolutionary biology.
