CDU Wellness Centre Psychology Service offers quality and affordable psychological assessment and therapy to the general community.

Psychology services are provided by students completing the Master of Clinical Psychology program, who work under the supervision of a registered Clinical Psychologist as part of their professional training.

Clinical training involves the assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and psychological treatment of mental health, behavioural, and emotional disorders across the lifespan.

We aim to work with our clients to find ways to overcome difficulties, build on strengths, and assist in developing and achieving personal goals.

Services provided 

We offer therapeutic services for children, adolescents and adults in areas including:

  • Anxiety and related difficulties
  • Depression and mood difficulties
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Sleep
  • Coping with chronic illness
  • Stress management
  • Social skills
  • Thinking, attention, and memory
  • Assertiveness and communication skills
  • Behaviour change
  • Chronic pain management.

Therapy and Assessment fees with Clinical Psychology students are outlined below:

Referral process

All referrals to the centre are strictly confidential. If you are interested in seeking psychology services please discuss a referral with your treating health professional and complete and return the referral form below.

Whilst we will accept self-referral, a referral from a medical or health professional is encouraged, particularly for children’s services.

The CDU Wellness Centre Psychology Service operates on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.
