What we do
We deliver applied research that supports workforce development, training systems, and economic participation across Northern Australia, with a strong focus on remote and regional contexts.
Our work helps governments, industry, and communities make informed decisions by:
- Analysing and modelling workforce and training needs to align skills development with current and future labour demand
- Evaluating policies and programs designed to improve economic participation, particularly for Aboriginal people in remote regions
- Assessing the economic sustainability of towns and regions, including the long-term viability of local industries, services, and employment pathways
We combine rigorous research with place-based knowledge to ensure our insights are practical, culturally informed, and directly applicable to real-world challenges.
