Emmanuel Tenakwah

Dr. Emmanuel Tenakwah's research examines the intersection of strategic human resource management and organisational transformation in a rapidly evolving global business environment. His doctoral research at the University of Newcastle investigated the diffusion of transferred HR management practices within multinational enterprises, providing valuable insights into how global organisations adapt and implement people management strategies across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. His current research focuses on three interconnected areas: the impact of artificial intelligence and automation on workforce dynamics, strategic approaches to managing workforce transitions in the digital economy, and the integration of sustainability principles into human resource management practices. With over twelve years of university-level teaching and research experience, Dr. Tenakwah has presented at numerous international conferences and participated in the prestigious Henley International Business Masterclasses at the University of Reading, UK. Research students working with Dr. Tenakwah have opportunities to explore cutting-edge topics in HR technology adoption, sustainable workforce practices, and the future of work in multinational contexts.
