As Co-Lead of the Remote Health Systems and Climate Change Centre (RHC3) based in Alice Springs, I lead a nationally significant climate health research program, currently supported by over $6 million in funding focused on enhancing climate resilience in remote Northern Australia. My work is built on deep, sustained partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled health services and local councils across remote regions, co-designing research to understand how climate change is impacting communities and the delivery of essential health services. My adaptation research is recognised in the top 1.8% of global adaptation researchers by Scholar GPS. Through my research program, there are opportunities to conduct research related to citizen science methodologies, qualitative research and quantitative research involving health data sets.
