Overview
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to experiment with digital imaging techniques and ideas to develop an individual style or voice.
The course applies to those who produce digital images for electronic media or physical/online display in art publications and galleries. They organise and finalise these digital images, evaluating their work and making required changes.
Further study options may include Certificate IV in Visual Arts, Certificate IV in Design or Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services.
Career opportunities
Completion of this course will equip students with advanced skills that may assist career development in digital media in areas such as content designers, graphic designers and social media designers.

VET to Higher Education Pathway Mapping for completed Awards in the same field or discipline.
Further training pathways from this program include, but are not limited to, CUA40420 Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services, CUA41320 Certificate IV in Visual Arts, or qualifications in Screen and Media.
Fees
Fee-Free TAFE: eligible NT government supported students who apply between 1 January and 31 March 2023 will have tuition fees waived if completed before June 2024.
2023 course fee for students who are eligible for an NT Government supported place is $420.00, and for students who are not eligible is $1,500.00.

To achieve the vocational training program VTP417 - Digital Media Content Design a total of two (2) units of competency must be completed as listed below.

Entry requirements
Admission criteria
Students must have access to Adobe Creative Suite.
Students will undertake an LLN assessment to determine individual support requirements, if applicable.

This is a non-award course and a Statement of Attainment will be issued for nationally recognised units of competency successfully completed.
