What is an Undergraduate Certificate?
It is an entry-level university qualification that is formally recognised by the Australian Government. Its part of what’s known as the Australian Qualification Framework. The course takes just six months to complete as a full-time student, or 12 months if you study part-time.
An Undergraduate Certificate is made up of four individual subjects (also known as units). Undergraduate Certificates are available in a range of specialisations, such as health or engineering, and the units relate to that field.
You can study an Undergraduate Certificate 100% online or on campus, part time or full time, from anywhere in Australia.
On completing your studies, you can add your Undergraduate Certificate to your resume, use it as credit towards further study in a related undergraduate degree, or to meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree in an unrelated field.

No. Fees are calculated by unit. The unit fees for both Undergraduate Certificates and Bachelor’s degrees are the same.
The difference is the level of the qualification and the number of units you complete for each of these degrees.
You study fewer units for an Undergraduate Certificate, so the overall cost is lower. A Bachelor's degree is a higher level qualification and you study more units, so the overall cost is higher.
If you take advantage of the 20% discount on Undergraduate Certificates for 2021*, the overall cost of your Undergraduate Certificate and Bachelor's degree (should you continue studying) will be lower.
