Join Anne Marchment and Michelle Pulatuwayu Woody Minnapinni as they discuss the early days of Jilamara Arts and Crafts and the Muluwurri Museum Collection at the 'Yipapirraya arnuwujaputi / Tide going out, tide coming in…' exhibition, Midpul Art Gallery at CDU, Danala campus.

'Yipapirraya arnuwujaputi / Tide going out, tide coming in…' features artworks predominantly drawn from two collections: the Muluwurri Museum Collection and the Charles Darwin University Art Collection. Recent gifts of Tiwi art from Anne and Laurie Marchment to the CDU Art Collection are featured in this exhibition, including works on canvas, paper, limited-edition prints, sculptures and textiles. Anne Marchment was involved in the establishment of Jilamara Arts and Crafts and Laurie Marchment (1937-2020) was principal at Milikapiti Primary School (1985-92).
