Location This event includes two separate sessions based on the discipline you are studying. Read the event information for the time and location of the session that applies to you.
Open to Students only

Immerse yourself in all things faculty during Orientation. In these sessions, you will meet your lecturers and other CDU students. Through connection, you will be prepared for study in the best way.

For students in the following discipline: Information Technology

  • Welcome and introduction to the faculty. Meet the incredible team of teaching and support staff.
  • Make industry connections with Australian Computer Society (ACS). Become a member of CDU's IT student societies.
  • Network with your peers as you have light lunch and refreshments.
  • Break out sessions for your discipline. Get a chance to meet your lecturers and ask questions before the start of classes.

For students in the following disciplines: Engineering and Environmental Science

  • Welcome and introduction to the Faculty. Meet the incredible team of teaching and support staff.
  • Make industry connections with Engineers Australia. Become a member of discipline-oriented student groups.
  • Network with your peers as you have afternoon tea and refreshments.
  • Break out sessions for your discipline. Get a chance to meet your lecturers and ask questions before the start of classes. 

Please note: Faculty events are included in the Darwin Orientation program for all students.
