Mark Brady

Mark is a Law and Technology researcher specialising in the regulation of autonomous and disruptive technologies, with a focus on transport and mobility solution and technology. His research examines how emerging technologies challenge established legal and regulatory frameworks and how those frameworks can adapt to support their safe and effective integration into society. Mark also researches drones, and ethical and legal issues around reproductive technology. If using Ai to write then do not contact me. His research outputs include the 2021 QUT report on Roadside Enforcement Powers and Automated Vehicles, published by the National Transport Commission, as well as journal articles and policy submissions addressing the regulation of automated vehicles. Mark’s research has contributed to Australian policy and legislative development, with his work cited in the NSW Parliamentary Hansard (Report 2/56, 2016) and by the National Transport Commission in its publications on Motor Accident Injury Insurance and Automated Vehicles (2018) and On-road Enforcement for Automated Vehicles (2022). This research sits at the intersection of law, technology and public policy, with a focus on developing regulatory approaches capable of responding to technological change.
