If you have questions or require support at any stage of your professional experience journey, a number of dedicated contacts are available to assist you. It’s important to direct your enquiry to the appropriate contact to ensure a timely and accurate response.

Please ensure all email correspondence is sent from your CDU student email account and includes your student number, full name, and unit code in the subject line.

Professional Experience Supervisors

A Professional Experience Supervisor provides support to pre-service teachers, mentors, and site coordinators from placement confirmation through all stages of the placement—before, during, and after. You can contact the team through the group email or communicate directly with your assigned supervisor.

Unit Coordinators

Questions about academic progress or assessment for specific placement units should be directed to your Unit Coordinator via Learnline.

Course Coordinators

For enquiries related to course progression, enrolments, or course structure, please contact your Course Coordinator.

Concerns and complaints

We recognise that placement-related concerns, misunderstandings, or issues may arise from time to time. Our aim is to ensure that any concerns during your placement journey are managed fairly, transparently, and in a timely manner.

In the first instance, we encourage you to contact your Professional Experience Supervisor, who will provide support and help facilitate the resolution process.

We also have a dedicated Complaints team to help you navigate the process and ensure your concern is referred to the appropriate decision-maker. CDU takes complaints seriously and strives to foster an environment where students can learn and grow without being subjected to discrimination, harassment, or victimisation.
